No. 21 No. 20. Tuesday the 19th of December Anno 1775. At the beginning of this meeting, the Governor produced the written report, annexed with a statement of the general charges, from two members of this assembly who, according to what was recorded in the Resolution of 30 November last, were commissioned to inspect the trade books, as well as a report from the Honorable Head Administrator Willem Jacob van de Graaff regarding the debtors, the outstanding accounts, and the creditors. These papers having been reviewed, and it appearing from the first-mentioned report that the books were found to be well kept and in good order, it was approved to qualify the Bookkeeper to proceed with closing the same, and furthermore it was agreed to insert both mentioned reports herein, and to make such annotations on the report of the debtors as are known for each item: To the Right Honorable Adriaan Moens, Extraordinary Councilor of the Dutch Indies, as well as Governor and Director of the Malabar Coast with the jurisdiction thereof.
