For 1448½ lb which upon delivery of the quantity of 30002 lb booked in Anno 1786 per the Honourable Company's ship De gerechtigheid were found short, making 4 7/8 per cent deficit for ship's and warehouse underweight in a period of 33 months or since the 9th of August 1786 when they were weighed over at Batavia to the officers of said vessel until the 10th of May 1789 when that consignment formally expired, which quantity with its charged purchase cost 8: Bar silver ƒ 22:13:8 for 10¼ lb or ½ per cent underweight on the in Anno 1786 per is written off here in fulfillment of the decision taken on the 2nd of October of this year in the Council of Policy to the debit of the cited Previous Year's Account with - - - - lb 1448½ ƒ 525:12:—.
