It pleased your Honors and Worships on 4 April of the past year to commission the undersigned members of this Council to examine the defects that have been observed in the present Hospital and are not recorded in the Report of the year 1791. Upon this, we, assuming that the expenses for the repair of these new defects had to be reported at the same time, had the honor on the 24th of that same month to report verbally that this specification could not yet be made, since, according to the overseer of the buildings, the necessary timber was not on hand. Since that statement was delivered into our hands by him at the beginning of this month, we take the liberty of appending it hereto, referring to it regarding the defects, as they are accurately specified therein. This being all that we had to do in this matter, we hope to have satisfied our duties herewith and call ourselves with due respect, was written underneath, Honorable Right Respectable Lord and Respected Councilors, lower down, Your Honors and Worships' obedient servants, was signed, I: H: Linner and I: C: Kist, in the margin, Houglij the 28th of March 1765.
