Payment shall be made in good sicca rupees for each lot that they receive and collect, at the latest 15 days after the weighing out. Yet by the ultimate of December next, everything shall be paid off and settled, even though some goods might still remain uncollected in the warehouses, except the candy sugar, which will not be paid for before the same has been collected. And in case the Honorable Company should occasionally require money sooner, the brokers shall be obliged to furnish the required cash even one to two months earlier. In witness of the truth this contract has been signed by the Director and the brokers in their own hands, and the parties bind their persons and goods for the performance thereof as according to law. Findings on the delivered cargo of the Honorable Company ship 's Compagnies Welvaaren; namely By the merchant and warehouse master Anthonij Iulius Bangeman, being per invoice of this vessel inscribed merchant goods etc., received in the following manner; namely Cloves in 101 chests inscribed with 32495 lbs. 98 chests were found in good condition, and as appears from the annexed report of judicial commissioners weighed with a small gross underweight, thus setting the inscribed contents at 12217 lbs. 3 chests, having been spilled as just mentioned, were weighed net and found therein 275½ lbs, making 12492½ lbs. Thus less net 2½ lbs. Nutmegs sprinkled with cloves are inscribed to be brought in 111 chests, 7523 lbs. 111 chests received here, according to the report found in good condition and weighed at 7323 lbs.
